Governments across Australia should fund long service leave (LSL) for the 2.5 million people across the country who are self-employed.
I’ve written about portable LSL before. The entitlement of LSL was originally a simple reward for loyalty, for staying with one employer for a decade or more, and then earning a period of paid leave.
That world has changed.
